Real estate on Spain

spain real estate

Spain real estate is one of the international markets that have seen a lot of change in recent years. The changes are not similar to the changes that have been witnessed in many parts of other countries like the U.S. in the last 10 years. But, the markets in many European countries have seen a lot of changes in the past 25 years, especially since the use of the euro. For the home market in Mediterranean countries, there are a few things that have greatly influenced the growing popularity to buy here. One of these is the appeal that the climate has for international buyers.

The international home buyers’ market has opened up in recent years. People are seeing the affordability and appeal to buy outside of their countries. For example, it is not out of the question for someone in Canada to consider the Spain real estate market when looking for their retirement home. It was considered not long ago that only the really rich could buy second homes in other countries. Now, upper middle class to middle class are taking advantage of the opportunity.

There are many reasons that the international buyers’ market can be so attractive. Of course, one of the most obvious reasons for buying a retirement home in Spain or Italy is for the climate. In many ways, it is the same thing as purchasing a retirement home in Florida, except the choice to buy overseas is more exotic and fun.

If you are looking into possible European options, the Spain real estate market is certainly one to watch. Because the climate is similar to Florida, a popular spot for buying properties, the appeal is obvious. In addition to the climate, the way of life in southern Europe appeals to many retirement-age couples. A slower pace of life and less urban sprawl make the Spanish countryside one of the prime spots for those looking to truly retire from a long and hard work career. The pace of life and the option to enjoy nature on foot or by bike are only a couple of reasons staying at a European countryside is appealing to many older generations.

“TOP FIVE REASONS TO OWN A PROPERTY IN NIGERIA”

The Nigerian Real Estate Market is yet to be fully tapped and for the few investors already in it they are well to do. This is because the sector is yet to be fully tapped into. Population Explosion- Nigeria has a population of over 140million people as at the last census exercise in 2006. This simply equals to a large demand for shelter across the nation, and most especially in the commercial areas of the country.  E.g. Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Aba and Onitsha. The Federal and State Governments of Nigeria have got a little impact and contribution in providing homes and shelters for their citizens. This has created a large vacuum in the Real Estate sector, so big a Vacuum that the ever increasing population has surpassed the number of government housing projects. The ratio thus is alarming- 1 in every 100k people live in government owned houses. Demand over Supply- going by the number of people currently based in Nigeria and the number of new businesses on the increase in the country it is imperative to say that the demand for both Residential and Commercial Accommodation has shot up 100% and counting.  The Fifth Reason why you should own a property in Nigeria- is for you to be play a role in filling the large gap in the sector.
